
President/CEO/Actor/Executive Producer/Writer

Shashi is not only the President and CEO of Media At Large, he is also an acclaimed and award-winning actor and producer. Though he is of Indian and Antiguan descent, Shashi has called New York home for the past thirteen years. Before entering the work force, Shashi earned his B.Sc. from Marymount Manhattan College with concentrations in Theater and Business and continued his education in the professional program at The Lee Strasburg Theater Institute and The Film and Television Production Program at NYU. Still eager to learn, Shashi is currently pursuing an MS at the Gallatin School at NYU.
In 2005, Shashi founded ABC Film & Video, LLC – Media At Large while actively pursuing his acting career, with his film credits spanning feature film and television (Exposed, And Then Came Love, As The World Turns). Throughout his career, Shashi has had the opportunity to work with industry staples, such as Vanessa Williams, Peter Boyle, Mercedes Ruehl, Alec Baldwin, Eartha Kitt, Ben Vereen and Will Janowitz.
Though Media At Large is his passionate business venture, Shashi plans to simultaneously continue his acting career while producing and writing for independent film and television, as well.
Senior Producer
Roger, an English expatriate with Scottish/Guyanese roots, moved to New York in May of 2000. He holds a BA in Film & Video from the London Institute where he studied English, History and Theatre. In the UK, Roger worked as a journalist and documentary filmmaker, contributing to national publications such as The Independent, Daily Mail, Financial Times and Arena. In his spare time Roger ran production workshops for young offenders on parole.
Roger’s production company, Limey Films Inc was founded in 2005 and has produced a variety of innovative and diverse work. Today Roger spends his time writing, directing, and producing inspired new material.
Later this year, Roger will be directing his first feature with Media At Large: And Behind Door Number Two.
Managing Producer
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Mónica relocated to New York City in 2007 to pursue film production. After receiving her BA in Audiovisual Communications from the University of Puerto Rico, Mónica began working on the production and postproduction of the feature film Cayo. From there, Mónica worked with Producciones Paractuar, for the documentary 70 años de amor that was broadcasted on PBS Puerto Rico. After joining Media At Large, she has taken on a variety of roles, including producer, editor, and filmmaker.
Of her recent and upcoming projects for Media At Large, Mónica has lent her talents to Promises of Home, Exposed, and several other film and video projects.
Associate Producer
Brendan Cochrane was born of Irish and Indian decent in Cortland, New York. In addition to being the older brother of actor Rory Cochrane (CSI: Miami), Brendan spent his time in school learning the arts, attending the High School of Performing Arts, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Syracuse University.
Having worked on a number of different feature film and television projects in a variety of roles (A Bronx Tale, Die Hard 3, NYPD Blue), Brendan recently started his own production company, Inconspicuous Productions, LLC based in New York City. Brendan’s talents have not gone unnoticed, with recent accolades including two PEN Drama Awards.
Brendan is currently writing scripts for both feature film and television for Media At Large.
Office Manager/Associate Producer
Tracey was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and attended California State University in Northridge before relocating to New York in 2004. As half of the critically acclaimed vocal duo the Jazzyfatnastees, Tracey helped found the Black Lily Women in Music Series in 1999 and most recently the Black Lily Film and Music Festival in 2007.
Along the way,T racey worked as a production associate with MTV’s TRL where she strengthened her production management skills. Her experience brought her roles as production coordinator and production manager for both, short and feature film.
With a background in musical theater, dance and voice, Tracey has expanded her artistic prowess to include film and television production design and production management at Media At Large.
Tracey is currently working on producing her first sitcom.
Executive Assistant
Trevor was born in Washington Township, New Jersey. He attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA after which he relocated to New York in 2006. An aspiring writer, Trevor graduated from the New York Film Academy’s Screenwriting Program in 2007. Before joining the Media At Large team, Trevor was a Production Assistant on the 20th Century Fox film, What Happens In Vegas….
Today, Trevor’s credits include two feature length screenplays, multiple shorts, a spec script for the television show Arrested Development, and an original television pilot.
Associate
Nicole is a native New Yorker of Irish and Italian decent. After completing a BA in Communications with an emphasis on Film from Fordham University, she moved to Boulder, CO. Nicole’s early career spanned various facets of web production for online content, film, and video. In 2006, Nicole completed her first film as Director of Photography, Absent Meaning, as well as a television pilot and various screenplays.
Since returning to New York in 2007, Nicole has joined Media At Large as an associate, which also includes public relations and production responsibilities.
Associate
Resident Bronx boy Eric Siavichay was born of Ecuadorian and Romanian descent. He graduated with a BA in Sociology with a Film Studies minor from SUNY Albany. After graduating, Eric went to New York Film Academy, focusing on film editing. He co-wrote, co-directed and co- produced the short film Sweet Dreams, while working as a freelance editor and as a production assistant on various projects.
Today, he joins Media At Large as an associate, editing major works and acting as Production Assistant during shoots.
Production Assistant
Morgan is a New York native from Monroe. He began studying Media Arts at Monroe-Woodbury High School and continued his education at Rockland Community College. He went on to receive his BA from SUNY Plattsburgh where he focused on editing. During his time at Plattsburg, he co-produced, directed and edited a documentary about Homeland Security.
Morgan relocated to New York City in early 2008 and is currently assisting on various projects for Media At Large.
